Islamic Prayers

There is no god but God; Muhammad is the messenger of God

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Glory be to He Who covers Himself with honor and dignity.
Glory be to He Who bestows favors abundantly, therefore surpasses in glory.
Glory be to He except whom none is worthy of glorification.
Glory be to He Whose wisdom surrounds everything;
Glory be to He Who owns favors and bounties,
Glory be to He who is the Lord of Power and Generosity.
O God! I beseech Thee in the name of that which is the cause of the majesty of Thy Throne; and is the ultimate mercy in Thy book, and Thy Divine Name and Thy complete and perfect words which have been made thorough and conclusive through truth and justice.

I begin this day of mine before I should forget or hurry by saying: “In the Name of God” and “Only what God wills”

In the Name of God; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. There is neither might nor power except with God the All-high and All-great. All praise be to the Lord of morning; all praise be to the Cleaver of daybreak; all praise be to God Who has taken away the night by His power and brought the day through His mercy.

I entrust with God the Most High, the All-high, the All-majestic, and the All-great myself and whatever concerns me. I entrust myself with God the feared, the dreaded, and to Whose greatness all things submit.

In the Name of God I begin, in God I put my trust, to God I resort, in the way of God I proceed, and the principles of God’s Messenger – may God bless him and his Household – I follow. O God, protect me with the protection of faith before me, behind me, to my right side, to my left side, above me, beneath me, and in front of me. There is no god save You.

Glory be to you Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe; and Peace be upon the messengers; and all praise is due to God the Lord of the worlds.”

“Therefore, glory be to God when you enter upon the time of the evening and when you enter upon the time of the morning; and to Him belongs praise in the heavens and the earth, and at nightfall and when you are at midday. He brings forth the living from the dead and brings forth the dead from the living, and gives life to the earth after its death, and thus shall you be brought forth.”

Glorified and Sacred be You; our Lord and the Lord of the angels and the Holy Spirit. Your mercy has preceded Your wrath. There is no god save You. Glory be to You. I have done wrong; forgive me, have mercy upon me, and accept my repentance, for You are the Oft-Returning, the All-merciful.

O God make me live as long as You determine for me to live and cause me to die when You decide for me to die following this faith, and resurrect me, when You will resurrect me following this faith. I only desire Your pleasure and following Your path. To You do I resort and with You do I entrust my affairs.

Glory be to You, O Lord of the House; accept my prayer. Whatever virtuous item through which I have sought nearness to You, multiply it for me many folds. Grant us from Your Presence a great reward. O my Lord, how excellent Your favors to me are! How great Your gifts to me are! How lasting the wellbeing with which You have endued me is! Too many times have You covered my faults! So, all praise be to You, O my God; such praise that is pleasant, blessed, as full as the heavens, as full as the earth, as full as what my Lord wills and pleases, the Lord of majesty and honoring.

O God Who causes the changes of hearts and sights, make firm my heart on the course of Your religion, cause not my heart to stray off after You have guided me, and bestow upon me mercy from Your Presence. Surely, You are the All-bestower.

God is sufficient for me and He is the Best Helper; O God with your name I die and I live.

All praise to God Who revived us to life after giving us death, and to Whom we shall return.

O He who is sufficient for all things, from whom nothing is defficient; Be sufficient for me in what worries me in the state I am.

Praise be to God who created us from His Light with His hand; And dignified us over His creatures; And made us trustees of His creation and His revelation.

O God I ask from You well-being, and gratitude for well-being.

I seek protection for my soul in the Lord of the earth and the Lord of the heavens. I seek protection for my soul in the One in whose name no sickness can harm me, I seek protection for my soul in the One whose name is “Blessed” and “Cure.”

O God, to You have I turned my face, Your pleasure have I sought, for Your reward have I desired, in You do I believe, and on You do I rely; open the ears of my heart to remembering You. In Your mercy, grant that I may stand firmly in your truth and the truth of Your Messenger; do not let my heart deviate after You have guided me aright. Surely, You are the most liberal Giver.

Oh God make my heart gentle, my actions a source of pleasure, my life prosperous; grant me continued sustenance and make my children righteous, and fix for me a place near the grave of your Messenger Muhammad (May the prayers & salutations of God be on him & his family.) a place of stay and rest, through Your Mercy O the Most Merciful One of those who are able to show mercy

Truly guided is he whom You guide. I amYour servant and the son of Your two servants; I stand in submission before You; I am from You, through You, to You, and for You. There is neither haven nor shelter nor escape from You except with You. All glory be to You; I am seeking Your kindness. Blessed You are and Exalted You are. All glory be to You, O Lord.
